Theseus and the Minotaur is a very original and enjoyable mind game for Windows. The objective of the game is to elaborate a strategy to escape the Minotaur and get out of the maze. It includes 87 amazing mazes of increasing size to play and it even comes with an editor to create your own labyrinths.
In the first levels the tutorial will tell you what you need to do in order to fool the Minotaur and get him trapped. You can play in full screen, set a timer, and select the Minotaur walk and pause from the options menu. There you can also set the sound and music volume, as well as regulate the speed of the game.
The graphics are stunning and there are good sound effects and music. What is more, all the levels present beautiful background images. It even includes a brief explanation of mythology, in case you don't know who is a Minotaur.
The game is challenging enough to keep you thinking for a while, but not that much to frustrate you or get you bored trying to find the solution. You can choose which level you want to solve at and leave the most difficult ones or which you cannot solve yet for later. I'm sure you will find this game very attractive and addictive, so be prepared to play for a long time
